Preclinic
Q:  When do I have to be at preclinic on the first day?
A:  We ask that freshmen be in the band room, A-123 at 3:30 for a brief orientation! “Upperclassmen” will come later.

Q: Do I need to come to all pre-clinic rehearsals?
A: We ask and expect that you come to rehearsal when you’re physically in Northport. Pre-clinic is crucial to the success of clinic and the program overall!

Q: If I play a sport will I be able to participate in marching band?
A: Of course! We work out all conflicts with coaches! In some cases, makeup tests are needed, but they should NOT pose a problem in any way. The majority of band
members are on a school sports team. Even members of the varsity football team are a part of the band!

Q: How do I order clothing (Tigerwear)?
A: Mrs. Lindley, the Tigerwear coordinator, will be available during pre-clinic to take orders! There is a Tigerwear brochure on the "Schedule and Forms" page.

Q: If I am in the band and have a specific question about something or need to give something to an officer or director, how should I know?
A: Below, you can download a list of all the officers and directors and their duties and areas of expertise.
